You Better Hurry Up

Christ has gone a home to prepare up beyond the blue sky it must be so wondrously fair never seen by mortal eye we know soon he’s coming again from his heavenly throne we will leave this earthly domain when he comes to claim his own

You better hurry up getting ready to go you better hurry up no time to be slow if you wanna ride on the glory cloud with the savior and his chosen crowd you better hurry up getting ready to go

Give your heart to Jesus today oh why longer refuse let him wash your sin all away he’s the only one to choose don’t you wait until it’s too late let him be your true guide enter in the mercy bright day gates are standing open wide

Lazarus Come Forth

Heart broken tears falling Martha found Jesus she question why Lazarus had died when she had thus spoken her doubts were then silence she pressed toward the body and cried

Lazarus come forth awake like the morning arise with new hope a new life is born Lazarus come forth from death now awaken for Jesus ahs spoken deaths chains have been broken Lazarus come forth

The reason this story gives hope to so many is although we know we must die our bodies want stay there in cold and dark silence we’ll hear Jesus cry from high

(Children come forth) repeat chorus 1

Jesus Walked All The Way

When Jesus rolled into Jerusalem they cried hosanna to the praise of him but on that journey to mount Calvary Jesus walked all the way

Jesus walked all the way Jesus walked all the way to die for you and me up on mount Calvary Jesus walked all the way

If you are burdened from this world below your loud o heavy you can hardly go thank of the savior on that lonely day and how he walked all the way

Somebody Touched Me

My soul was sick and dying bound in sin and shame somebody called upon the Lord and soon sweet redemption came somebody held me up to God when I was feelin down and I so glad somebody prayed so I can sing it now

Somebody got another prayer through somebody touched the Lord somebody just touched heaven for another need once more somebody prayed until the spirit came somebody called on Jesus name somebody knocked upon heavens door somebody touched the Lord

Now when I needed healing and felt to low to pray somebody interceded and soon my healing came now help me Lord to pray for those who stand in need of prayer and let it be said yes once more somebody touched the Lord

An Old Convention Song

We used to come from miles around have diner on the ground underneath those old shade trees and sing the old songs in shaped notes and four part harmony like he set me free and he’ll pilot me and anywhere is home how long has it been since you heard an old convention song

I still love to hear those old convention songs that I heard as a child as we sand them all day long like I’m a gonna walk and just a little talk and all the day long how long has it been since you heard an old convention song

Gospel songs today have a lot to say they lift you up when your feeling down some have a country flavor some have a modern sound they all serve a need of planting seeds so I know they can’t go wrong but there’s none so dear as when I hear an old convention song

How long has it been since you’ve heard after a while how long since you heard give the world a smile how long since you heard
I’m winging my way back home how long has it been since you heard an old convention song

Whiter Than Snow

Lost and so lonely just a pilgrim was I, I had no future I wasn’t ready to die but then I met the master what a friend just to know for he took me to Calvary washed me whiter than snow

Now I saved yes I’m saved by his marvelous grace now I’m a child of that heavenly race now my heart is full of gladness and my life is a glow for he took me to Calvary and washed me whiter than snow

Now I don’t have much money or this worlds wealth or fame but there’s one thing that’s for certain Jesus know me by name and although I once was nothing now to heaven I will go for he too me to Calvary and washed me whiter than snow

Sunday Go To Meetin' Medley

I remember singing songs on Sunday morning family and friends would sing along hymns with words everlasting and here are a few of those favorite songs

Now let us have a little talk with Jesus let us tell him all about our troubles he will hear our faintest cry and he will answer by and by now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning then you’ll know a little fire is burning you will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right

Now give me that old time religion give me that old time religion give me that old time religion it’s good enough for me it will take us all to heaven it will take us all to heaven it will take us all to heaven it’s good enough for me repeat

Everybody will be happy will be happy over there we will shout and sing his praise everybody will be happy over there

Bringing in the sheaves bringing in the sheaves we will come rejoicing bringing in the sheaves

I like the old time preaching praying singing shouting I like the old time reading of God’s word I like to hear those glory hallelujah ringing I like the old time worship of the Lord

Oh victory in Jesus my savior forever he sought me and bought me with his redeeming blood he love me evr I knew him and all my love is due him he plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood

Daddy sing bass momma sang tenor (song)

Will the circle be unbroken by and by Lord by and by there’s a better home awaiting in the sky Lord in the sky

Oh what singing oh what shouting on that happy morning when we all shall rise oh what glory hallelujah when we meet our blessed savior in the sky

Go Jonah

A message came from heaven that Nineveh was on God’s mind he said to Jonah go and let my light shine go and tell my people they better mend there ways cause if they don’t this might be there last day and God was saying

Go Jonah Go Jonah go to Nineveh go Jonah get on up get on up go down Jonah God will tell you what to say

Instead of going to Nineveh Jonah went the other way but things didn’t go the way ole Jonah had planned the storms made him jump and holler and by a big fish he was swollerd God told that fish to caught up his prophet man
